Staten Island Lacrosse will be offering several indoor lacrosse programs this Fall and Winter season. These programs are for the beginner and the advanced, from a instructional camp to an indoor league for our youth level and our high school level athletes. 

WINTER INDOOR INSTRUCTIONAL CAMP/CLINIC – SUNDAY- 2 SESSIONS – BEGINNER – TBA INTERMEDIATE TBA

WINTER INDOOR PROGRAM FOR GIRLS – CAMP/CLINIC SESSION – BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE – HS ADVANCED GAME PLAY – 

Our camp is broken into groups where athletes will train, practice and play with athletes of equal skill level. For the beginner, the program is a introduction to lacrosse. They learn all the basic skills: shooting, passing, catching, defense. All players learn to play both offense and defense. The goal here is to learn while still having fun. For our advanced players, the program is a High School/College level workout. It focuses on specific position skills and drills. Attack/midfield players will work on shooting, dodging, stick work, face offs. Defense positions/goalies will work on positioning, checks, foot work, outlets, wing play. The program consist of 10 sessions, 1 per week, 1 hour each on Sundays beginning Dec. 1st and running through Dec. 29th. (5 sessions) Then we move the programs to weekdays ( Monday or Wednesday depending on the program you may be in.  )  Our Staff will determine the placement of all athletes. Space is very limited in order to give athletes the attention they deserve. Program cost $350. Please indicate on registration form the program you would like to register for.

GIRLS PROGRAM DATES AND TIMES

For our Girls Beginner and Intermediates: Sunday December 1,8,15,22,and 29 sessions are 1:00-2:00. Then we move to Monday’s 7:15-8:15 for January 6,13,20,27, and February 3.

For our Girls Advanced HS Athletes: Sunday December 1,8,15,22, and 29 sessions are 2:00-3:00. Then we move to Wednesday’s 7:15-8:15 for January 8,15,22,29, and February 5,

BOYS PROGRAM DATES AND TIMES

For our Boys Beginner: Sunday December 1,8,15,22, and 29 sessions are 1:00-2:00. Then we move to Monday’s 7:15-8:15pm for January 6,13,20,27, and February 3.

For our Boys Intermediate: Sunday December 1,8,15,22, and 29 sessions are 12:00-1:00. Then we move to Monday’s 8:15-9:15pm for January 6,13,20,27, and February 3.

For our Boys JV Games: Sunday December 1,8,15,22, and 29 sessions are 11:00-12:00. Then we move to Monday’s 9:15-10:15pm for January 6,13,20,27, and February 3.

For our Boys 4 Team HS League: Sunday December 1,8,15,22, and 29 sessions, games will be played from 9:00-10:00am and 10:00-11:00am depending on your teams schedule. Then we move to Wednesday’s 8:15-9:15pm and 9:15-10:15pm depending on your teams schedule. Our schedule will be made so that each team will only have a couple of the late games.

INDOOR GAMES – BOX LACROSSE – 7 vs 7 INTERMEDIATE LEVEL / HIGH SCHOOL JV LEVEL – 

GIRLS SESSION- BOX LACROSSE – INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED 

This program is designed to give our athletes the experience of playing in a game while being instructed throughout the game. The program will consist of 10 sessions, 1 session per week, 1 hour per session, on Sundays beginning Dec.1st. through Dec. 29th. Then we move the program to weekdays until Feb.5th.  The first session we will work on game rules, perform drills and skill development. The next 9 sessions will be 45 minute running clock simulated games. Teams will consist of 13 -15 evenly matched athletes including a goalie which will allow plenty of playing and learning time for every athlete. Roster spots for this program are very limited. Our Staff will determine the placement of all athletes. Program cost $350. Please indicate on registration form the program you would like to register for.

INDOOR GAMES – BOX LACROSSE – 7 vs 7 HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY LEVEL LEAGUE – TBA ( 1 hour each game )

This 4 team league is for High School level athletes looking to play a fast moving highly competitive lacrosse game. The game features a 45 minute running clock with a 7 vs 7 game format. Athletes are forced to dodge, pass, defend, and shoot much quicker than a regulation outdoor game increasing and developing all their lacrosse skills. Athletes will play a 9 game schedule and teams will consist of 13 – 15 evenly matched athletes including a goalie. Teams will play one game per Sunday and times will rotate each week. The program will run 10 weeks beginning in Dec. 1st. and running  through Dec. 29th then we move to weekdays until Feb.5th.  Week 1 will be our evaluation session. Our Staff will determine the placement of all athletes.  Roster spots for this program are very limited. Program cost $350. ALL INDOOR PROGRAMS WILL BE HELD AT THE STATEN ISLAND SPORTSPLEX, 215 SCHMIDTS LANE, SINY 10314 (BETWEEN MANOR RD. & TODT HILL RD.)

STATEN ISLAND LACROSSE WILL CONTINUE TO COMPLY WITH ALL THE PROTOCALS AND REGULATIONS SET BY THE CDC. WE ASK THAT ALL PARENTS AND ATHLETES FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL  ALSO CONTINUE FOLLOWING THESE RULES. THIS IS HOW WE CAN BRING BACK SOME OF THE NORMALCY FOR OUR ATHLETES. WE HAVE DECIDED TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT ATHLETES IN EACH SESSION WELL BELOW WHAT THE CITY AND STATE MANDATES IN ORDER TO KEEP EVERYONE EVEN SAFER.

Athletes are not required to be vaccinated or wear masks ( unless they want to ) .
